1.Place the paper vertically and fold the bottom edge to the left edge.

2.Fold back the crease and then fold the bottom edge to the right edge.

3.After the crease is undone, fold slightly inward from the crease.

4.Fold down the quarter line

5.Fold left and right side to aligin with centerline

6.Fold to the back along the middle line.

7.Fold the wings on both sides slightly off the corner of the tip.

8.Spread the left and right wings.

Reason that they chose the process

They chose the process because this paper airplane flew the straightest.

1.Fold in half lengthwise.

2.Fold the bottom corners to the fold line.

3.Fold the triangle over.

4.Fold the bottom corner to the fold line again.

5.Fold the right and left corners in line with the fold line.

6.Fold the fold line further.

7.Fold each of the top and bottom corners.

8.Fold in half using the center fold line.

Use the fold line to dent the left corner.

9.Fold down the wings at the point where the wing is folded down.

10.Fold down the wing section using the indentation as a marker.

11.Fold the left and right sides of the wings forward about 1 cm.

12.Fold the corner at the tip and crease the square toward the back.

2.Fold the dotted valley fold toward the center line.


3.Fold up on the dotted line.

8.Fold the reverse side in the same manner.

Eigo Gachizei   This team’s basic moon lander module is triangle, and it is increased aerodynamic drag by attaching three cards to each side of the triangle. I explain how to make this moon lander. First, we wrap an index card around the paper cup to serve as a weight. This process is also meant to flatten it.     Second, we prepare four pieces of cardboard cut into triangle, and we attach the cardboard along the sides of the paper cup. We make several slits in the cardboard and wrap rubber bands around them to secure it in place. Third, we attach straws vertically to each of the cardboard.            First, all of the hints were categorized. At this time, we newly learned that the first resident is a Norwegian and the second house is blue. Balloon Car Challenge

Balloon Car Challenge Kira Kira Flyers   This team’s balloon is powered by air coming out of a balloon attached to the front of the car. The materials that they use to make this balloon car are four plastic bottle caps, two toothpicks, two balloons, three rubber bands, a thick straw, and two clothespins. I explain how to make this balloon car. First, we make holes in the plastic bottle caps large enough hold a toothpick. Second, we glue the two plastic bottle caps and a two toothpick. Therefore, we make another one of the same. Third, we attach a balloon to a straw using a rubber band and make another one of the same. Finally, we put them on top of the two things made of toothpicks and plastic bottle cap and glue them together.
