The 60 seconds Mable Run Challenge

Kira Kira Fliers

The team’s track refers to places in Kumamoto Prefectures.

For example, Sea’s pyramid, the caldera of Mount Aso, Green land and Tsujun bridge.

The materials that they use to make this track are construction paper, tape, glue, scissors, plastic bottles, hoses, tissue boxes, cutters, and cardboard.

The first section referred to sea’s pyramid is made by rolling paper into a corn and the path that a marble passes is made using paper and hose.

The second section referred to Tsujun bridge is made with tissue boxes. The team makes this part tilt slightly because a marble becomes to run smoothly.

The third section referred to the caldera of Mount Aso is made with plastic bottles.

The fourth section referred to the roller coaster in Green land is made with hoses. They make a shape that use a hose to go between two rails in the fourth part.

I think this team’s track design is very unique and this track is well designed. I think the third section has a lot of to do with success of this challenge because it’s hard to predict the time.

This team’s members didn’t say difficult points when they considered the track design and the reasons why they chose this track in their presentation.

Therefore, they should say them in their presentation.

The team’s track separates two section. First section is winding course. The course is made by cardboard. This team makes the width of the twist as long as possible because the speed at which the marble runs will become slowed down. Second section is made in the shape of a spiral. This course can produce long distance in a small volume.

I think this team’s track is difficult to make because they need to do detailed work to create a spiral path in a small space. It will be interesting to see how complete this team’s track will be made.

I think that this team lacked an explanation of how to make it in its presentation.

Therefore, they should have said the way to make this track to improve their presentation.

The team’s track is shape of spiral. This track can produce long distance in a small volume.

They make a spiral path in a plastic bottle and make one more of the same. After that, they put them and a plastic bottle on the cardboard to connect them.

I think that this team’s track is difficult to make because they need to do detailed work to create a spiral path in a small space. It will be interesting to see how complete this team’s track will be made.

I think this team’s presentation is easy to understand.

However, I think this team should have said the way to make this track and how to make the finish point in this track to improve their presentation.

The materials that they use to make this track are plastic bottles, thick paper, tape, light cover and paper cups.

This track separates two sections. In the first section, they stack a cardboard and cardboard using plastic bottles and paper cups. They cut only the cap part of the plastic bottles and use the cut-out parts. They use it and make a hole in the cardboard to connect a slope for a marble to pass through. In the second section, they use light cover. I think that it’s hard to predict the time in the second section because they never know what timing a marble going to be in the hole.

I think that this track is complex and well designed. I think the second section has a lot of to do with success of this challenge because it’s hard to predict the time.

I think this team’s presentation is good.

However, they should have said more about how to make this course to improve their presentation.
